STONE 2027: Two Worlds, One Industry
STONE 2027 opens a new chapter in the history of the natural stone trade fair. The event’s revamped concept brings together two equal dimensions—STONE ARCHITECTURE and STONE TECHNOLOGY—showcasing the industry’s full value chain: from natural stone and materials, through processing technology and craftsmanship, to architecture and final execution. It is a dedicated platform where manufacturers, distributors, stonemasons, technology suppliers, architects, interior designers, investors, and contractors meet to present solutions, reach new audiences, and build lasting business relationships.

STONE 2027: Two Worlds, One Industry
From January 26–29, 2027, the STONE trade fair returns with a brand-new concept. This evolution goes far beyond a redesigned floor plan. Its core goal is to highlight the stone industry across its entire value chain-from raw material and sourcing, through processing technologies, to architectural design, craftsmanship, and completed projects.
STONE will take place concurrently with BUDMA, WINDOOR-TECH, Archi-Strada by BUDMA, and Progetto Fuoco Poland, further extending reach to targeted professional audiences.
The new format rests on two key pillars: STONE ARCHITECTURE and STONE TECHNOLOGY.
-
The former directly addresses the needs of architects, interior designers, investors, and contractors by highlighting stone and other materials as fundamental elements of modern architecture.
-
The latter remains deeply rooted in the practical, daily operations of stonemasonry workshops-making STONE TECHNOLOGY one of the central highlights of the upcoming edition.
STONE TECHNOLOGY: INNOVATION YOU CAN SEE EVALUATE
For professional stonemasonry facilities, a trade fair delivers real value when it provides direct solutions to practical production challenges: how to increase efficiency, improve quality, reduce material waste, expand service offerings, or adapt to evolving market demands.
This is why STONE TECHNOLOGY will be much more than a static catalog showcase. Located in a specialized, dedicated area within the BUDMA halls, this zone will aggregate cutting-edge technology targeted directly at stone processing professionals.
Exhibits will feature:
-
Stone processing machinery and equipment,
-
CNC machining centers and bridge saws,
-
Waterjet cutting technologies,
-
Diamond tooling and stone care chemicals,
-
Surface treatment and finishing solutions,
-
Material handling, transport, and installation systems,
-
Large-format slab handling technologies.
Beyond technical specifications, the focus will be placed on the opportunity to compare competing solutions and discuss their practical application on the shop floor.
This is particularly crucial for machinery investments. Purchasing a piece of equipment, a CNC center, or a processing system is a long-term decision. Professionals require more than just technical data sheets and price quotes—they need clear answers regarding operational output, production capacity, maintenance, ease of use, and real-world integration into their facilities.
STONE TECHNOLOGY is designed as the primary hub for these crucial technical discussions.
Live machine demonstrations, technology presentations, hands-on workshops, and practical trials will form a core part of the event program. Seeing processing workflows in real time, testing machinery, and speaking directly with manufacturers provides the clearest insight into whether a technology truly fits a shop's operational needs.
The expansion of this section is developed in official cooperation with and under the patronage of the Polish Stonemasonry Association, further reinforcing its industry authority and value for the professional community.
FROM THE WORKSHOP TO ARCHITECTURE
This space is tailored primarily for architects, interior designers, investors, and specifiers responsible for material selection. The flagship theme, THE SURFACE EXPERIENCE: Stone • Glass • Wood • Light, underscores the crucial role of material texture, color, and application possibilities.
For the stone sector, this provides direct access to key decision-makers who specify materials for major architectural projects. Stone will not be presented merely as a standalone product, but as an integral element of the entire design process—from initial concept to final execution.
STONE will be hosted in the newly restored Hall 4, one of Poznań's most iconic exhibition halls. Renowned for its unique architecture and heritage, this landmark venue has long served as a prominent symbol of Grupa MTP (Poznań International Fair).
Uniting these two core areas represents the cornerstone of the STONE 2027 vision:
-
Architects require high-quality materials and reliable contractors.
-
Stonemasons need modern technology, raw materials, and new project leads.
-
Technology suppliers seek forward-thinking workshops looking to invest.
-
Investors require dependable partners capable of executing complex projects.
STONE 2027 brings all these needs together in one place, at one time.
From raw material, through technology, to architecture. Two worlds. One industry.
Bridging these two dimensions represents one of the core principles of STONE 2027. Architects need materials and skilled contractors. Stonemasons require technology, materials, and new project opportunities. Technology providers look for forward-thinking facilities ready to invest. Investors seek reliable partners capable of delivering demanding projects.
STONE 2027 provides a single platform where all these needs converge at the same time.
From raw material, through technology, to architecture. Two worlds. One industry.
